Missed/Late/Cancelled Appointments
Providing at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment helps us to keep your session costs down, maximises our availability to clients and minimises lost appointment time. Any appointments missed or rescheduled with less than 6 hours notice will incur 50% of the total fee, which you must pay before your next scheduled appointment or within seven business days.
If you are late for an appointment, your session time may be less than the scheduled duration. Please note you will need to pay the total amount in these circumstances.
If you provide us with a mobile number or email address, a reminder text message will be sent 48 hours before your appointment. This is a courtesy reminder only. If you did not receive a reminder message and missed your appointment, you still need to pay the late/missed appointment fee. If ever in doubt, please telephone to confirm an appointment.
Rescheduling of Appointments by Practitioner
If Lisa cannot attend the scheduled appointment, she will contact you to advise with as much notice as possible. If the circumstances prevent her from offering an opportunity to reschedule immediately, she will endeavour to rectify this as soon as possible, given the circumstances.
Frequency of Appointments
The number and frequency of appointments will be discussed with you by Lisa Carse. This will be based on her professional opinion once she has had an opportunity to understand your treatment needs and goals. In many circumstances, predicting a person’s response to treatment and the number of sessions they may require can be difficult. Your practitioner will discuss this with you before commencing treatment.

We advise avoiding eating a heavy meal for at least 90 minutes prior to your treatment.
Following your treatment, be sure to drink plenty of water to aid the flushing of toxins from your body. Without proper hydration, the toxins released during the session will have no way of leaving the body

The practitioner, or Reiki master, channels the energy of the universe and transmits it by placing their hands on different parts of the client’s body, using esoteric symbols and sacred sounds. Through their practice and the various trainings they have received, Reiki masters possess a wealth of knowledge that is both highly codified and dense.
Reiki therapy can involve sequences of movements, including carefully choreographed routines, precise hand placements on the body and the use of Chinese energy symbols, which require mastery of nuanced codes. Furthermore, at the beginning of the first session, there is an interview that requires a certain level of experience.
During this interview, a good professional will ask the right questions to learn your habits, living conditions, family and work environments, health issues, and so on. In light of all these elements, it is clear that it is safer to seek the services of a qualified, trained and experienced Reiki master who has made Reiki their profession to ensure you receive the most appropriate courses and sessions.

Reiki is not a medical treatment and is not intended to cure; this energy therapy only allows for revitalisation and relaxation. In this way, Reiki sessions allow individuals to receive positive energy and use them for self-healing. These sessions are also perfect for meditation, relaxation, and letting go.
Reiki practitioner helps liberate your mind, often clouded with anxiety, stress, or even past traumas. Reiki treatment fluidises energy and, therefore, has a positive impact on the questions or doubts that can overwhelm you. Once the treatment session ends, the practitioner gives valuable advice regarding what they felt and hypothetical blocks that may have been identified.
This moment of exchange is essential, just like the brief interview at the beginning of the session, as it provides new keys to understanding and facilitating self-healing. It is essential to understand that Reiki does not have the same effect on everyone, although one of the first benefits most practitioners enjoy is a certain sense of peace of mind.
Though Reiki does not substitute medical practices, it can help alleviate physical pain and, through self-healing, induces the natural recovery of the body. Reiki can also be beneficial in severe illnesses, as the care provided can be very helpful in the healing process of an ailing individual.
This is why, in several countries, practitioners can intervene in hospitals to help patients become more relaxed, have better morale, and thus have better chances of healing.
